No-exam life insurance
Eligibility for speed underwriting, how it flows, and the slower route if you don't qualify.
Today's carriers often employ instant underwriting: inside age and coverage bounds, they approve using your form, Rx history, DMV record, and third-party data—no physical. Fast turnaround, sometimes 24 hours. Per quote shown here is whether you'll face an exam, might, or won't.
What it changes
Skipping an exam ≠ skipping review. The carrier verifies your responses; policies can be contested for 24 months if you misfiled. They might still request labs if something looks odd. Your call whether to proceed.
Who tends to qualify
Usual candidates: younger than ~60, requesting standard amounts, healthy background, non-smoker. Got recent labs from a checkup? Many insurers skip the exam and use those.
If an exam is needed, a paramedical examiner typically comes to your Santa Monica home or office for 20 to 30 minutes at no charge to you. The results sometimes boost your rate class if you're in good health, so an exam can actually help.
